Sample Community Investment (Grant) Process:
1. Application Packets to agencies: December 1st
2. Deadline for packets to be returned: 3rd or 4th Friday in January, 4:00 p.m.
3. Panel members make site visits to assigned agencies: By appt. during the 3rd or 4th week in February.
5. Panel Meetings: 1st week of March – 5:30 p.m.*
Inclement Weather Date: 2nd week of March – 5:30 p.m.*
6. Panels meet to determine recommendations: 3rd week of March.
7. Panel recommendations to UW Full Board for approval: 4th Monday of March – 5:30 p.m.
8. Award letters and first Payment to Agencies: April 15th (but not later than April 30th)
*Agencies will be notified of their specific appointment date and time via email. Notification of any use of inclement weather dates will occur by phone and via email.
