Dining Davie is an event designed to bring the restaurants of our
area together in an effort to help the people of our community. 

 

You can help too by simply dining out!

day to participate, they are listed below.

Any restaurant can be a DiningDavie Restaurant!
 
To sign up your restaurant, download and complete this form.  Then, fax or mail it to the United Way office. 
You can also send an email to kmcclelland@davieunitedway.org. 
Spanish speaking restaurants are encouraged to sign up using our spanish form.

Individuals can take the sign up form to your favorite restaurant and ask them to participate!

Restaurant Benefits

 

DiningDavie Event Recognition

  • Recognition as a participating restaurant in a mass fax sent through the Chamber of Commerce (circulation 450). This fax will be sent out the week of the event to increase visibility and interest in the event and its participating restaurants.
  • Internal advertising materials provided (i.e. posters & stickers for Crew Members to wear).
  • Listed as a participant in a News Release targeted for publication the week of the event (circulation 8,500).
  • Thanked in a News Release sent to the Davie County Enterprise Record after the event (circulation 8,500).
  • Recognized as a DiningDavie donor in the Community Impact Newsletter of the Davie County United Way (circulation 700).
  • Recognized as a participating restaurant in Davie County United Way E-Newsletter (circulation 295).
  • Recognized as a participating restaurant on promotional flyer sent home with every elementary school child in Davie County (circulation 6,689)
  • Recognized as participating restaurant on all DiningDavie Posters.
Marketing
  • Designation as “Participating Restaurant” with use of this designation and organizational marks on pre-approved material such as letterhead, apparel and advertising.
  • Promotional rights to conduct additional fund raising promotions in conjunction with DiningDavie.
Team & Morale Building
  • Crew Member morale increases as they begin to feel good about working in an establishment that gives back to the community.
  • Crew Member morale increases as they are given a chance to give back themselves.
  • Team cohesiveness builds as co-workers collaborate on how to make the event an even bigger success.
Estimated Financial Benefit
  • Last year, over 33,750 impressions were gained by each participating restaurant, resulting in a return on investment of over $675.00 in marketing value through promotional avenues provided by Davie County United Way.
