United Way of Davie County is committed to improving lives and delivering meaningful results. We do this by uniting donors, volunteers, corporate partners, and non-profit organizations around solutions to community issues. YOU can help by giving to United Way, by advocating for a particular issue that is important to you, or by volunteering your time.
Our goals: Children are prepared for success in
school and in life. Families have the tools they need
to successfully meet the challenges of parenting.
High quality youth development and mentoring
programs are available to keep at-risk kids on track
to high school graduation – and beyond.
Our goals: People in crisis or transition successfully
access the community resources they need.
Individuals – including older adults and people
with disabilities - as well as those who struggle
with unemployment, under-employment, and
homelessness - have the potential to live as
independently as possible.
Our goals: An individual’s potential to be physically,
mentally, and emotionally well is fully-realized.
Families are strengthened and cases of child abuse
and neglect are reduced.
